✨ Project Overview
I led the UX writing for the modernization of Daily Snapshot, the app’s home-page insight showing balances, spending, and cash flow. I joined as the project moved from sponsor concept to full product build and helped shape how data spoke to users — through tone, hierarchy, and clarity.

✏️ The Opportunity
<aside>
- Make the daily view human and scannable, not mechanical.
- Replace transactional copy with plain-language cues that build confidence.
- Create content patterns flexible enough for weekly and monthly summaries.

✍️ Approach
1. Clarify meaning through language
- Translated system-driven terms into everyday phrasing (“Money in this month” instead of “Deposits”).
- Created consistent naming conventions across cards and graphs.
- Adjusted tone to be neutral but conversational, striking balance between friendly and trustworthy.
2. Reduce friction through hierarchy
- Simplified headers and sub-labels so users could grasp key insights at a glance.
- Defined microcopy rules for charts, captions, and alerts.
- Built guidelines for progressive disclosure — the right amount of detail at the right time.
3. Collaborate, test, iterate
